Jordan Gillespie joined the firm in 2026 and concentrates her practice in family law. She handles all aspects of divorce and domestic relations, from the initial filing through post-decree modification and enforcement. That includes child custody (allocation of parental responsibilities and parenting time), child support, maintenance, complex financial issues, and the drafting and enforcement of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
Jordan also represents clients in minor and adult guardianships, orders of protection and stalking no contact orders, adoptions, involuntary commitment proceedings, landlord/tenant disputes, select civil litigation, and appeals.
Jordan earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (formerly John Marshall) in 2020, where she represented clients through the Pro Bono Litigation Clinic and was a teaching assistant for first-year legal writing students. She received her bachelor's degree in English from New Mexico State University. Before law school, she was a technical writer and editor at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
In her spare time, Jordan is an avid Chicago White Sox fan and enjoys playing guitar, riding her bicycle, reading novels, and spending time with her family.
